video capture problems

I just recently tried using the video capture option and cant get it to work, I am sure I am missing something here but whenever I hit my assigned key in game is says

video capture failed:you may need to wait for a previous video to stop encoding.

I changed the preset settings around a bit with the same result, anyone have a tip to get me going?

There used to be some bugs with video capture not working because the window is an odd (as in opposite of even, not strange) size. You can try resizing the window a little bit, such as going into full screen emulation, and that might help.

Other than that, you can try updating your Windows Media Player

you rock! I Upgraded from media player 9 to 10 and it works like a charm, thanks alot!
