WinEQ2 is working with EQPlayNice AND without the patcher.. great work again Lax

Anyone else notice its like a 50% chance that Everquest will start w/ WinEQ when you enable the patcher? I have to repeatedly restart EQ and login to the server select, because half the time its regular EQ that loads (even though I'm running the WinEQ Default Profile.exe

Not sure if this is a WinEQ problem, or a EQ problem in general, but when I'm in game, my Shift- and Shift+ commands dont work to adjust my clip plane, I have to go into options and manually adjust the slider

Anyone having a similar issue or know of a fix?

Also, if for some reason you time-out in the regular client (while sitting in chat or at server select) -- you get put at the old login screen (the same one WinEQ uses), and its giving the same error

WinEQ2 not able to log in to the server, after clicking Login it says "the login server is not taking logins at this time, usually due to a patch"

Yet on the regular client, its working fine... hopefully a fix is easy?

My graphics seem to be good, except for a slight gray blur on my windows and hotbuttons.. and some world textures.. until I do the above suggested temp fixes; but it still reverts to the greying when I relog

Is this black screen not present in WinEQ1? I've never tried it, only ever tried WinEQ2, and the black screen drives me nuts (wasnt in eqw)!!

I also notice a slight delay when switching instances, which wasnt present in EQW Albeit VERY small, were talking 0.5 of a second, the screen does go black for a split second before displaying the other instance. This in turn causes slight lag with commands that wasnt present in EQW Running a P4 2.8...
