This seems to be unclear to some people

EQPlayNice and WinEQ are now commercial products. There are free features, and subscriber features. You do not need to purchase a subscription simply to use the software. The people subscribing help keep EQPlayNice free for those that do not wish to subscribe. The free version performs exactly the w...

EQPlayNice Ready

EQPlayNice has been updated for the patch for both subscribers and non-subscribers. You do NOT need to re-download EQPlayNice if you already have version 1.06. The patch will automatically be supported by the authentication server. Have fun! :)

Thank you :)

Fury should be compatible with the localized servers. I will plan on making it relatively easy to use the eqstr_??.txt files.

I'll see what I can do. Originally I actually wanted to place the menu bar from the main site at the top of the page next to the Lavish logo. I'll see if I can get that working this week.

Well, the reason I ask is perhaps you used the left ctrl to switch windows, and right ctrl to do key combinations for the game itself. If not, then I can quite easily get this in for you as well as a few others that asked for it. I'll work on that this week.

Regarding Yahoo.com email addresses

Until about 5 minutes ago, users registering with Yahoo.com email addresses would have to look in their BULK MAIL folder for the message board account validation email. I reworded the text of the email so that it is no longer placed in the bulk folder by SpamGuard. Any users who previously signed up...

Unfortunately the mouse cursor is invisible but you can actually click it or use "Tab" and hit space to select it. I'll change it a little so the cursor shows ;)

Are you asking to differentiate between left and right CTRL? I can quite easily set up CTRL, ALT, and SHIFT so that they can end combos but I'm trying not to separate left and right ;)

 It's a copy protection scheme, and rather than passively assuming that people are all honest, I'll go ahead and take the hit of the small number of people who object to connecting to a license server each time the software starts (turns out most of those people are ones who wouldn't pay for t...

EQPlayNice and WinEQ updated

EQPlayNice and WinEQ both got a small update today. Both programs now offer auto-login for the Lavish Software authentication. WinEQ also received some small changes to remove some debugging information that is now unnecessary (this may improve performance very slightly, but probably not noticeable).
