Upgraded to Windows 7..having problem...
I go to launch the game, and I'm getting a application error.
The instruction 0x03bbd306 references memory at 0x00000044. The memory could not be read.
Click ok to terminate the program error...any ideas?
This is with the latest display drivers and running as admin.

Is this on a laptop? Laptops typically have power saving features which will adjust the CPU clock while you play. This might not even be limited to laptops anymore, but what happens is the FPS limiting from EQPlayNice confuses the power saving feature, typically resulting in waves of slow followed ...

Vista and WinEq causing a pause....
Just installed Vista if I load up EQ1 without Wineq I have zero problems.
Now if I load up WinEQ then EQ 1 through it, when I play my toon, he goes from normal speed to almost a crawl then back up to normal speed to a crawl and so on and so on...any ideas?

Ok, you need to enter WoW all the way, go into its video settings, and check the Windowed Mode box. Hit okay after that, and it should work properly. Lax thank you for the help.
