Same issue.
Work around is as stated above patch via everquest.exe from your EQ dir. once patched WinEQ will work again, just end the patcher and launch via WinEQ as normal works with or without patcher enabled. If you have more than one account you have to do this to each of them.

Default window size after using option editor
I need some help after using the built in EQ option editor. On a few of my accounts I went into the option editor to turn off alot of things tring to save memory and cut down on lag issues. When it comes to the windows size there is no option for 1680 x 1050 (what I play at and have my UI setup for)...
