Disregard this post. Problem has occurred now without running PlayNice. It's a hardware problem I think. The cooling fin, or what you call it, of my motherboard has come loose, and fell on my graphics card contacts. Can't be favorable for a stable system I gather :/

Updated the Audigy drivers, but no solution. Other drivers are up to date too.

Strange thing is, sometimes I haven't problems for a whole day. The next day, I freeze after a few minutes EQ is running in windowed mode.

Hi, I've been starting to try out Eqplaynice today. But up to now, I've been having nothing but trouble. It works, I can see cpu usage dropping radically. But after a few minutes, my system freezes.
