WinEQ 2.14 not recognizing my DX?
I had to wipe my system, so after installing every update avaliable (including DirectX 9.0c, 0904 distribution), i finally installed WinEQ again. I run WinEQ and I get a popup DirectX Update Required WinEQ 2 requires the April 2006 (or later) update to DirectX 9 to be installed on your syste...

well it seems odd that it would detect EQ2, PS, and SWG, but not EQ, when none of them are in default folders. Ok. Installed IS, watched it patch, then opened the window to see how well it works for EQ. Problem. EQ isnt listed. It found EQ2, Planetside, and SWG, but not EQ. Ok, easy enough to fix, right? Add Game, Everquest. eqgame.exe, patchme, all that. open the menu, select Everquest Default Profile. Ok, ...
