User Account Control, a security layer in Vista and Windows 7. Basically it prevents software that requires administrative privileges from running unless you specifically allow it to. The "easy fix" for the problem was to turn UAC off. To do that, go to Control Panel -> User Accounts and select "Cha...

Got it working with UAC enabled now as well, makes me feel a lot better about the security. I had to make a task scheduler entry to run lgdcore.exe with elevated privileges at startup, because simply ending the profiler via task manager and re-starting it manually with admin privileges didn't seem t...

Thanks for the quick reply Lax! You were right. I disabled UAC for a test drive and then it all works. I'm going to try and see how I can run the Logitech drivers as administrator, because running only the profiler and the LCD app as admin doesn't seem to be enough. I'm trying for something less rad...

I recently purchased a G13 and tried to set it up with WOW today, just to find out that no bound key ever reaches WOW, is this due to lack of G13 support or am I doing something wrong? I previously had a N52te which worked great with IS, using mostly keymap features to multibox. I installed the G13,...

Went back through a couple revisions starting from 163.44 and picked a select few out until 97.52 (Nvidia Forceware), no luck. Still the same issue, nothing gets limited, and the overlay information is not displayed either. Card still Is anyone here running WinEQ ( forWOW) + Vista on an NVidia GPU (...

Still no luck. Checked the config.wtf, the renderer variable was not set, I set it explicitly to "d3d" still not working. I'm starting to get frustrated, although I don't think it is a WinEQ issue and am more inclined to blame it on the crap drivers that NVidia has for Vista. So far I've learned tha...

Tried that, j, have set it both via WinEQ preferences (by setting CPU affinity to ON) and via Vista task manager to CPU 0, both together and alternatively, no difference. Game still runs with 100+ FPS in spite of the limiter being ON and set to 40. Still can't get the framerate/memory indicator to d...

Problem with Vista and WoW: limiter not working
Apologies if this has been asked before, I tried searching the forum but haven't found anything to help with my problem. Using WoW+WinEQ2 with Vista Business, I have installed WinEQ as administrator and am running it as administrator. WoW starts normally, it's just that none of the limiter options (...

Asking myself the same question. I've been hit for running WinEQ on the EU servers as well. Except that the EU policy for WinEQ seems to have been final warning and 3-day suspension first and not outright bans like in the US. Got a couple mails today (one for each account), and a few hours later the...

WoW: German keyboard problem, special keys + right alt
Couldn't find a similar problem, apologies if it has already been posted. Using IS on a german windows with a MS Natural Keyboard and the default windows driver. Problem happens with only with WoW (does not happen with EQ2) + Innerspace. When typing any of the "special" german characters like "ö", "...

WoW screenshots by default upon gaining focus
Haven't seen this mentioned yet, and I don't know if it has anything to do with the fix to the screenshot key in WoW, but as of last update, when I alt-tab back to WoW (or when WoW gains focus by clicking on the window with the mouse) it takes a screenshot all by itself. It is a WoW screenshot, and ...
