Game Configuration tab, Wow in the pulldown, click startup, click insert. At this point it adds "New Entry" to the list. When i click new entry, the previous game configuration tab goes to the front with the World Of warcraft pulldown open. When i click new entry, i should be able to edit the fields...

From what i read this is your UI. Try using the default one, or one that has been modified for TSS. The first time you go to char select, the default UI code is used automatically. Using wineq2 causes a crash when i start eq. I can see the accept/decline screen in the background and a crash box in the foreground. I hit alt-enter and just about every texture in the game goes gray. Only doors/trees remain. Can do this at char select or in game fully.
