It appears WinEQ is working again =D. Thanks so much for the quick responses and helping me fix this. I would have hated to throw in the towel and stop using the product =(. I'll post again if I have further issues =).

I tried to download Windows Defender when you mentioned it before, but when it asks you to validate I never get the install prompt and the alternative method takes me to a page that cannot be displayed. I use Microsoft Windows XP though =/.

Ok in safemode i couldn't seem to run HijackThis, but I did manage to delete InterceptorHelper.dll. Got the same error when deleting interceptor.dll though. Any time i try to load up everquest using WinEQ i get the error. It does not even make it to patch screen, and if i toggle to skip the patch it does the same thing.

Yes, I have been playing EQ with 2 of my accounts without wineq, but its a huge memory hog. I've also patched but i'll go check for any weird ones. I have the latest version of Direct X ( DirectX 9.0c 4.09.0000.0904 ).

I don't know how to read that stuff but was just reading some other posts from Lax and he was telling someone he was using way to much ram. I took the above information while I had 2 full things of EQ1 running and a few other programs..so it might show i'm using abunch .
