No, WinEQ doesn't work with EQ2 at all anymore. ISBoxer still does, so far.

Steam = evil - I don't use it.

Patch is off - I patch using the standalone game, then shut it down and use WinEQ to play. It's how I've always done it.

This is slowly driving me insane - I made no changes to anything, just tried playing the other day and bam, grief.

It is even ignoring presets - screensizes - it's got the SOE build# on the bar, just as if I hadn't used WinEQ.

I'm playing on Test btw - not sure that makes any difference. Hasn't before.

Same thing is happening to me but it looks like it's WinEQ2 that may be the issue. My global activation keys weren't working so I went in and tried to change them - neither the CTRL or ALT keys will work when trying to input a new sequence. They show to be set as CTRL+ALT+1, etc but once deleted you...

Is it possible to run the game with just WinEQ or do I have to run it through ISBoxer?

nm, sorry for the n00bness - I had switched from XP to Vista and things were not quite as apparent!

Is there any way to change the border color? WinEQ defaults to a black border along the top in windowed mode - with only the X cell color changing when the window is active.
