Just thought i would post a quick note 3 guildies so far said the have the same issue. It tells them to DL directx or something but still won't work. Game we are all using is Everquest 1

I never log out of mine so it still works, and I am not about to now. Not sure if this helps any.

There was a new patch this morning on the 6th, probably has to be fixed up again for them to work.

I get same thing on both pc's here. I am sure they'll be on it soon.

Could it be eqplaynice maybe since I have the dual package that has them both? Just checked out my drivers, connection and stuff everything seems normal. EQ runs fine but soon as I bring up a window in winEQ it closes out when I hit enter world never makes it in. Are they both patched now both wineq...

Been boxing since 2000, haven't ran into this problem before. Thanks for the response.

The windows close out EQ when I zone and characters eventually LD out.

Zoned 3X now, same each time.

Not sure if I have a version mismatch but I have reinstalled and patched since servers came up and I just get instant disconnect if I try to log on through WinEQ.

I thought it was patched bafore servers come up, but I am new to WinEQ hopefully it will work soon.
