Uninstalled and reinstalled EQ and all my lag is gone and no more texture problems...ya'll that posted above may want to try it.

ok still alot of raid lag, but still just slightly better not running wineq, not much better though, should have tested it more before posting teh last post

sry, one more post...the raid lag isn't as bad when not running wineq. Still a lil lag there, but playable, with wineq running it goes down to 3 - 5 fps.

I am having this same problem. It seems to only occur when I am browsing while playing, minimizing eq, going to a different application, like ie or such, then coming back. Here is the system info while the textures are missing. I've also been having serious lag issues when raiding, encountering alot...

jsut created new desktop shortcuts to make sure i had doen it after the reinstall, and they still do not work. But, i tried again to launch EQ from the toolbar icon and it is now working. I think i had not tried this since i reinstalled.

I tried launching the profiles from the desktop shortcuts as well as from the wineq icon on the toolbar. I get teh same error from both. I deleted the desktop shortcuts and created new ones, and am still getting the same problem.

When i try to open my everquest1 profiles I get "WinEQ2 detected it is already running" in a pop up window, and everquest fails to initilize. The only way I have been ale to start up EQ is through everquest.exe, not using winEQ. This started happening 2 days ago when i installed McAfee internet secu...
