Forgive me for thinking you might respond again to a topic on your forums. I will assume from this point forward that you will...

Interesting that i found much better performance using different folders than using the same folder. HD space is cheap, "wasting space" isn't a problem

EQ Servers may be down longer than yours, but If EQ's servers are down, i know i can't play eq. If your servers are down (99% or not) while EQ is up, then i have to change how i play EQ. You may not remember, but i mentioned this problem when you first went to this silly login scheme and then later ...

Have different everquest folders for your different accounts and you won't have to worry about it writing over the wrong eqclient.ini file

Hey Lax, you actually going to support your product anymore? If you aren't a message saying "i no longer support this product, please use my other product that requires my servers to be up before you can play EQ" would be nice.

EQLindows and Windows Vista

EQLindows starts to open, puts a small box in the upper left hand corner, then closes. Never gets to the EULA or to login. This happens only in Windows Vista, Windows XP still works.

So an update to wineq2 allows you to play on both monitors again?

As a note, my problem with XP was the dual monitor problem. But Vista still had a different issue. Any idea on that?

EQLindows Broken after Oct 4 Patch

In windows XP the mouse cursor would lag and jump across the screen causing a massive slow down on the computer, but EQ would load, just unplayable.

In Windows Vista, EQLindows does not even load to the EULA screen

Ran it a second time after double checking admin and xp2 compatability and ran fine. Not sure if it is important to you or not, but hovering over the program with my m...

Forgot something. Norton System works is NASTY to a computer and it's ram. I would uninstall that and install a virus scanner only. Maybe get a hold of someone with the corporate edition of Symantec AV which natively does a little spyware protection as well. Or you can always go with the free AVG.
