Lavish Software

I have tried 2 times to use this program, when i click on preferances, I do not get the screen sizing choice options. which means the screen is full size and i might aswell not even be rinning the program. any sudgestions

I'm new at all this, I followed the downlaod instructions. the only thing working is the mouse release. I cant get the game into a window smaller than a full screen?? any ideas?
