I was having an issue with screenshots as well, not sure what it was coming from but they were taken while using WinEQ2. For some reason Paintshop Pro 6 wouldn't open them, I wasn't the white image you describe but it was giving me some kind of error, but Photoshop 7 would open it just fine.
