Okay, I'm confused on the access to the Lavish GUI from C#.

Any short example code that you could provide to help me get started? I want to be able to display basic shapes (circle, dots) along with text if possible. Preferably eventually in a "window" that can be dragged around the UI from in game.

Innerspace Extension Support

Lax: Is there a good place to get some guidance on developing Inner Space Extensions? I know that there is a community at isxgames.com that sells extensions for specific games, but it doesn't appear to have much in the form of information to an aspiring developer. I'd hate to bug you on IRC with eve...

FYI, still broken.

I dunno if you've done anything to fix it yet or not. But I'm concerned that you may push a new non-development release soon and then I can't even revert to the old one to continue to use the product.

Just a quick note to say that many of these issues persist: The key re-assignment continues to happen for that particular key assignment in DAOC ("Stick"). It doesn't matter that I've re-assigned it to a key-combination (SHIFT-S) other than it now re-assigns to (SHIFT-ESC) instead of just ESC. There...

The current (new) development build does break a few things, it's a work in progress. Thanks for the report
Oh, sorry.

This is Windows Vista Ultimate x64

Recent Patch breaks DAOC Support

I'm not sure which development patch did it, but when I restarted IS today and it patched the development release, DAOC was no longer working. I started up a character set, and the game went into full screen mode, couldn't get an IS console to show up, and it didn't appear to detect the game launch ...

With ISBoxer you can setup to enabled/disable keymaps. Just set the M1 key to enable a keymap (and disable the ones associated with M2 and M3) and setup the lights as you want.

Do the same for M2 and M3.

I did some investigation with the windowsnapper/layout issues. I came to this resolution: It looks like the character select screen for DAOC trying to force its 640x480 resolution onto you is messing with setting the appropriate main window size value. I created a short script for my DAOC profiles t...

DaoC/ISBoxer Notes (08/23/09)

I got a chance to play around with DaoC with ISBoxer/IS in a 3-client configuration this evening. Here are the things that I had some issues with: Windowsnapper has an issue with the resolution changes. I believe this has to do with the DAOC character login screen being at a different resolution tha...

A side note: I worked with Lax this past weekend on getting IS/ISBoxer up and going with DAOC (sans the window layout). All of the testing I did was with multiple instances of the Labyrinth client (which afaik is the newest) on a single computer. Now, if you'd been using WinEQ2 previously, I'm expec...

Also I thought it might be helpful to have the uplink console window text from when I was doing some of this. You'll see me login the 1st character, then it times out the other characters after trying to launch character #2. Then you'll see another entry where character #2 goes in, and it attempts t...

Okay, this is the experience with DAOC thus far: I setup a character set with 4 characters in them. I setup a window layout to have the inactive screens displayed along the top. I played around with IS to get it to create a default DAOC profile. I turned windowed mode off in DAOC. When I launch it t...

Awesome. I'll take a look at this tomorrow and Monday.

I patched and got DAOC to startup without the crash and activated the console just fine. I'll need to re-activate more than just 1 account to test out ISBoxer and see how that is working.

Oh, and thanks for the effort! I'll probably go ahead and start working on my ISBoxer config for DAOC. I've got Monday morning off of work, so I'm hoping to have something by then to play around with and start re-learning the game.

DirectInput 7 I'm guessing is earlier than the current support of IS.

I'm surprised it didn't get updated with the WAR release (they're supposedly based on the same engine).
