also to add, the video processors in laptops dont quite have the juice the desktops have. and I also think the Intel M processors are geared to not be battery hungy and possibly are limited, my laptop has a standard p4 processor, and when I fire up eq on it ALL the cooling fans kick in and kick out ...

I have a 2nd copy of eq on a 2nd drive setup for when I want to dbox with eq2, and eq2 with using a custom ini on the main eq folder setup to when I do run eq2 to dbox, leaving the original eqini alone for when Im not running eq2 and want to run full bore (ie all models and features) the eq2 profile...

okay

I think I got it, I found in the Eqclient.ini was some wineq entrys for the screen at 800x600 so i change then entrys to 1024x768 the resolution I normally play the game, hit simulated full screen and wham looks like I normally play and when i fire up 2nd session and the pip works like a champ :) I ...

what I did.

not sure of your drive(s) and space, I made a 2nd copy of evequest on a 2nd drive and it has its own profile

well

I guess I will have to find some sort of UI that is smaller, in windows/emulated the ui is big for some reason and crowds the screen.

well.

I have no problem /w picture in picture. I was woundering if there was a way of getting a NON emulated full screen but go true full screen and use picture in picture

is there a way, or am I just missing it. to go full screen (not emulated) and have the picture in picture thing going? the emulated full screen crowds the interface
