Error since 1/27/2005 Patch
When launching EQ from WinEQ 2.x since todays patch, I get the following error message: "eqgame.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." If I launch EQ without WinEQ all works fine. The error happens when the game switches from Patching mode to Game mode...

Unless it's changed, does'nt EQ take screenshots in BMP format - they should be in the c:\Program Files\EverQuest\Screenshots subdirectory, please note that later installations of EQ put that in c:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\Screenshots. The BMP format would explain why you found no files searchin...

I'm having the same problem with 2.07. I start WinEQ, then right click to go to the EverQuest menu, then select my character profile I have created, click on it and nothing happens.
