I wasn't sure where to put this as I didnt want to start another thread. Setting Pixel and Vertex Shaders TRUE now appears to stop me from crashing when using 2 accounts on my single machine with NVIDIA card when using WINEQ. However, EQ Windows has been running 2 accounts quite happily for me with ...

I was getting the unplayable lag thing too when boxing with either WINEQ, EQ Windows or just EQ alone. (Geforce Ti 4200) I changed my graphics aperture from 64 to 256MB in the BIOS as suggested by Lax. Well it worked (sort of)! Lag has gone but now WINEQ crashes. If I point the second profile to my other EQ directory on second drive (that runs OK under EQWindows) and leave everything else the same, it still crashes. I have Visual C++ V6 installed and it asks me if I wa...

Second session always crashes
The only way I can prevent the second session from crashing is to use the default profile. Even if I make a second profile identical to the first it still crashes as soon as the first EQ screen appears. I am just using the default settings. (the second instance crashes... the first stays OK). What m...
