Enabling patching did correct the issue.....guess I will just have to wait a year while it checks for a patch

THanks for the reply, I just bought a Dell 8400.

I will try to disable the patching and see if it corrects the issue.

I have tried launching it from the tray icon and also by creating a EQ default shortcut on the desktop via the WinEQ software.

Searched the forums and cannot find a concrete answer to this problem. Whenever I run WinEQ I get the following message when trying to run EverQuest; "Please run Everquest.exe" Path is set to correct directory ( I used the quick start procedure in teh manual), system is brand new (just got it out of...
