pkoerner, I am pretty much in the same situation as you. I have system specs that far exceed the minimum requirements. When I load up the 1st session, it says I have 43% remaining system RAM and then when I load up the 2nd one it crashes because of low memory. However, after loading up the 1st sessi...

Ok, I lowered my AGP Aperture Size from it's default setting of 128MB to 32MB. I ran msconfig and stopped everything from starting except critical windows files. I rebooted and checked the performance monitor and it is showing 814532 available physical memory. So I still have around 800MB of RAM fre...

Downloaded Inner Space and the same thing is happening except it loads a little bit further than WinEQ did. One thing I did notice is that I only had around 50MB of system RAM available when it crashed. I didn't see any error message this time, but that seems like it was getting awfully low. Have yo...

Do you have the memory indicator on?
I turned it off. Should I turn it back on and attempt to load the 2nd session to see if it warns for low memory? I have 1 gig of RAM so I didn't even think about memory being a problem. I will try that and let you know.

Ok, followed step#1 and ran them both in the same EQ directory. Still the same problem. Should I continue to step #2?

Thanks

2nd session crashes

I am attempting to use WinEQ2 to play EQ1. I am using 2 different folders for launching EQ. I am using C:\Program Files\Sony\Everquest and C:\Program Files\Sony\Everquest2. I launch the 1st session from the 1st directory and everything loads fine. However when I launch the 2nd session from the 2nd d...
