Lavish Software

I've narrowed it down to the new video card. Trying to get a hold of PNY atm with no luck so far. I've tested memory and every other component it only happens with the 6800.

I just wanted to post I've narrowed it down to my new video card. As I can not produce this using my 4200ti.

I reinstalled the 6800 again and it hasn't restarted on me yet, but I only had about a half hour to test it.

I almost posted the problem was fixed. But this happened again at the end of my eq session last night. I've tested all components everything is performing at par. It seems to be alot more stable running eq from two directory's on the same hard drive, but like I said as soon as I zoned both character...

Once again thank you both for advice. Going to buy another floppy drive just discovered mines broken. That should rule out or solve my memory problem.

This is winxp pro, 1gig of pc3200 ram and 6800 128 geoforce video card.

Symptoms have seemed to change. I was not able to distinguish which memory stick is bad, so I guess eithe both are bad/not compatible or good. The good part is that the pc no longer restarts. I wonder the same about the memory, but wanted to rule out all else before purchasing more. The temps are at 42-46 average 46 being during mid day. Memory worked fine with 4200ti and amd 2.6.
