EQ1 - 2-Window crashing
Yep - me again - I seem to have an issue every few days. :) I HAVE scanned my system for spyware...viruses, etc. Have tried disabling antivirus, etc. No difference there. Was actually able to 3-box fairly well last week on same machine. Tried doing it in Noble's Causeway, and memory leaks seemed to ...

Memory use changes with latest version (as of Wed Nov 24th)?
Just curious....Monday I got online and was able to get 3 instances running. First would get me down to about 45% system RAM left, loading in 2nd would get me to around 25%, and 3rd would leave me around 8% System RAM. After running the most recent version, with no changes to my EQ settings at all, ...

A thing that drove me crazy at first, which might be part of your problem: Make sure you go into options and rename a profile from the default "Profile 2, Profile 3" etc. If you don't rename it, I don't think it'll show up in the "Everquest >" menu on the Taskbar thing. I was fine with using the nam...

Great job sniffing this one out. I still don't know why I had XFire installed - AA seems to run fine without it. *shrug* It's gone either way, and things work great. I actually got 3 accounts up and running (my own little stress test) and it ran great without a hitch. Many thanks again for looking i...

Hmm...Xfire? Not sure what that is and if I ever installed it intentionally. I went through and re-ran SpywareBlaster and SpyBot today to see if that'd help. Haven't tried again yet. I'll see if I find info on XFire, and if I put it in to support something else. If it's sacrificeable, I'll definitel...

EQ1 Multi-Window Crashing with 2.04
Yes, me again. :) Haven't actually been able to get any use out of WinEQ yet...crash problems are driving me nuts. In testing (didn't need to play 2 chars during the lifetime of 2.03) of 2.03, I was able to keep 2 windows up consistently as long as I alternated windows with Alt+Tab. With the release...

Still Crashing Off-and-on with 2.03 with EQ1
I posted a problem earlier this week about client crash problems with 2 instances up in 2 windows. I was excited to see the problem addressed in 2.03. I logged in this afternoon (Thurs 18th)to make sure it all works fine and had mixed results. When logging into 2nd window, things mostly went smoothl...

EQ1 - Client Crashes switching Windows
GAME: EverQuest 1 VERSION: WinEQ 2.0 ISSUE: Once 2 windows of EQ1 are opened, switching between them (Alt/TAB, CTRL/ALT/1(2) - doesn't matter how) causes one of the windows to eventually crash and spit out the Everquest client crash dialogue box ("Report? Yes/No etc.). This does NOT require me to e...
