Wouldn't you know it, I worked on the issue for three hours, but found a fix three minutes after posting. I had to put it into XP Compatability Mode.

Just in case this isn't already known... with the current mouse fix, it's now impossible to minimize an eq window, as it doesn't support clicks on the task bar or on the minimize button. Quick question about EQ1
I've subscribed to wineq 2.0 for close to 6 months now, and it works like a dream, except for one minor annoyance. Every time I load up the game, I get a popup asking me to turn on vertex shaders. I either have to click yes then turn it off in-game, or click "no" 3 separate times when starting it up...
