I too was banned, but didn't see this thread beforehand. I sent them a nice email about the ban asking what it was for. I haven't done anything with WoW that would even be slightly considered against their terms save for WinEQ2, and I told them that in the email. A few hours later I got an email say...

I am experiencing identical behavior. This occurred after the WoW 2.10 Patch. Starting WoW with WinEQ2 results in a crash before the initial WoW login screen can appear. I have zero problems starting/playing WoW without WinEQ2. I've attempted reinstalling WinEQ2 fresh as well as reinstalling my vide...

I need to stop posting things without experimenting further. It APPEARS that this may be something having to do with MQ2. And its happening multiple times in a row now. Upon attempting a Debug the angries message is "Unhandled exception in eqgame.exe (MQ2MAIN.DLL): 0xC0000005: Access Violation." Deb...

Heh, just went to start up a 2nd instance and reliably like I said, half the time it bombs. its like an odd number of starts and it gets angry in the pants! Anyways, here's the info: -- BEGIN eqgame.exe (400000) -- S=0x00E30048, R=0x001DA000, A=0x00C56048 mss32.dll - 216EE4, 0, 1DA354 WINMM.dll - 21...

Oh, and where it bogs down and crashes when it messes up is right off the bat. At the Disagree/Agree EULA screen.

"Tip" lag fixed with reinstall, one problem remain

Used that Driver Cleaner 3 I had used last time months ago to fix the BSOD that was rampant for nvidia users, and that problem with the windows "Tips" bogging my CPU usage to 92%+ went away for me. HOWEVER A problem still remains. It seems half the time that I start up EQ through WinEQ2, it fucks up...

Oh? I had just the other day (The day of that post) decided to switch from WinEQ 1 to WinEQ 2. Never had this issue prior. Assumed it was a WinEQ2 thing. My apologies.

WinEQ 2.02, EverQuest, 92%+ CPU Usage issue

- Please explain which GAME you are having trouble with EverQuest Weird ass problem going on. With WinEQ 2.02 Pro running, one window of EQ open. If I just hover the mouse over any taskbar item to where a "tip" displays. For the length of time that displays (including the "Fade Up" time, visible tim...

Able to force the Taskbar to show through WinEQ?

I really like having my taskbar be always on top of all my windows including WinEQ so that I can see things going on. Whether it be someone IM'ing me or hell I just like seeing what windows are up. Just switched to WinEQ2 today and even read a post I found in search regarding this but still can't fi...

Just an update, i've yet to bluescreen since. What I did appeared to have solved that problem completely.

So I would recommend people try one or all of the methods above if they are having this issue.

Driver Cleaner 3

http://www.driverheaven.net/cleaner/

That is what I used.

Just be sure to do as it says and READ the readme.txt for their instructions on what to do to ensure everything gets completely cleaned out.

Well, would that make sense when EQPN and WinEQ are in different directories for me?

why would EQPN pull lavish.dll from another directory randomly?

i.e. C:\EQ Play Nice\lavish.dll
C:\Win EQ\lavish.dll

That's how it's setup on my machine. Why would ONE program lock both dll files?

That seems to be the issue. It has been happening for me as well. I have WinEQ and EQPlayNice load on boot simply from having shortcuts in the "startup" menu in the start menu. When EQPlayNice goes to patch, it gets stuck in a loop on EQPlayNice.exe, Lavish.dll, and I think EQPlayNice.dat. Things wi...

Re: EverQuest + NVIDIA Video Card + Multiboxing Issue

This was the case for me. GeForce 4 Ti4600 Routinely I 3box off one machine. I got fed up with it and tried something which appears to work for me. I've yet to bluescreen since. However this option may not be completely viable for some. I merely copied EverQuest.exe to an empty directory (C:\EverQue...
