In case its helpful here is my sysinfo. This says I have 323MB of texture memory, my video card has 128MB. I'm pretty sure my aperture is set at 256MB. WinEQ 2 System Information System: ----------------------------------- Windows Version: Microsoft Windows XP/Service Pack 2/2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301...

I've been having the same problem lately, but none of my hardware has changed. It seems to be a memory leak of some kind in WinEQ2 because of the following: I can load 3 windows immediately after starting WinEQ2, but if I only load 2 and wait awhile (i.e. play) I cannot load a third. If I camp and e...

IS intro in the Wiki

I summoned all the mental facilities available to me after an all night EQ session and wrote what I thought might be helpful to those new to Inner Space. http://www.ismods.com/wiki/index.php/General_Concepts is that mental spew.

Another day, another stab at ISXEQ

I want to do this, I think I can do it. I have an intermediate knowledge of C++ as well as experience with PHP and Java and a spattering of assembly, so I can navigate your code. What I am having trouble with is understanding Macroquest's API sufficiently to trace the program logic and convert it to...

I give up, the complexity of the file layout and the annoying fact that C++ compiles things in strict order has made it impossible for me to trace the continueing errors. I keep coming back to ISXEQ.h spitting out errors like " error C2065: 'MAX_STRING' : undeclared identifier" which is decalred in ...

Also, I'm working on the ISXEQ plugin, just so you know the basic structure is obviously there already.

I kinda figured the problem would lie there since I so quickly glanced over it. Referring to the file as <isxdk.h> doesn't find it, but "isxdk.h" does, after copying everything to the working directory. I didn't think this would be such a big deal, though, since everything is there.

Compile error with ISXInterface

In ISXInterface.h the following line is giving me a compile error, and it looks funky to me but I lack a broad enough understanding of the SDK to try and fix it.
virtual bool Initialize(ISInterface *pISInterface)=0;
The error is: syntax error:identifier 'ISInterface'

Something I forgot to add, you kept mentioning MQ2 subscribers specifically. As I'm not an MQ2 subsrcriber is there something I should know about what they get relative to the proletariat?

It seems easier to setup offset hacks with IS than with MQ2, at least with MQ2 the pre-programmed featres block most people from messing with the memory directly. Nevertheless, IS is obviously more powerful. Does the memory protection plugin do what is currently broken in MQ2 (the memcheckers)? Are ...

IS vs. MQ2 development

Do the recent EQ1 network changes (and probably other stuff, what do I know?) affect Inner Space in the same way they affect MQ2? I'm wondering this because it seems that IS is under active development still while MQ2 is in maintenance and a fix is more likely for IS. If so it would probably be a hu...

This is still happening with 2.02, I've started using alt+tab to switch windows as it's very very annoying to deal with.

Bug with Reset Window function

Im not sure of the hotkey that keeps triggering this, but I found that sometimes I accidentally trigger the Reset Window function, which has the interesting effect of instantly camping me to the character select screen. I have seen while dual boxing that whatever character falls prey to this acciden...

Restart worked, I got a complaint that wineq2.dll could not start because of the shutdown, perhaps that is where the loop is happening.

Perhaps others are experiencing this too, but the patcher seems to be in an infinite loop downloading Lavish.dll and EQPlayNice.dll. End Process won't work, it results in an error saying that operation is not valid for this program. I'm trying to restart now.
