ingame settings rest

Hey guys, I am running 2 characters on one box. When ever i log into game with wineq all my ingame settings are reset. screen resolution, chat colors, brightness, sound music etc.
My hotkeys work correctly but any other settings reset each time i enter the game. If i log into everquest without wineq it works fine and remembers settings.
