Downloaded Wineq2 for Everquest, and still trying to figure out the basics. First, I guess without a subscription I can't view more than one EQ instance at a time. With the free version, what exactly is the difference between using it and not using it? I can't really tell, most of the functions seem subscriber only.
In the past, I have tried running 2 seperate accounts and it works ok, as long as one window totally covering the other. If I moved one window out a little bit from the other it was a lagfest. If I get the subscriber features like tiling and window in window, am I going to have that problem? I have a 3 gig P4 processer, 1 gig of RAM and an X800XL card. And, how do you switch mouse/keyboard control between each one?
I've looked at the manual, and usually can figure stuff out by dinking around, but most of the features seem to be for subscribers only.
I currently run 2 accounts on 2 comps, and am thinking about adding a third. I just need to see what's going on with all toons at the same time, when I have experimented with both on the same computer, bad things usually happen to the one in the hidden window. Plus, I can't tell if they stopped autofollowing for whatever reason.
Any advice, tips etc welcome.

WinEQ Lite is designed to be an alternative to EQWindows (commonly called "EQW"). The feature list for WinEQ 2 for EQ1 (with the comparison for the Pro version as well) is described here: http://www.lavishsoft.com/wineq2/eq1.phpDownloaded Wineq2 for Everquest, and still trying to figure out the basics. The issue you describe with windows covering the other havent been experienced with DirectX9 on Windows XP for ... I have no idea how long, but long before WinEQ was available. Switching control between sessions can be done via alt+tab, or any of the custom hotkeys added by WinEQ -- such as the global activation hotkeys, or you can use CTRL+ALT+X or CTRL+ALT+Z by default to rotate between sessions. In the past, I have tried running 2 seperate accounts and it works ok, as long as one window totally covering the other.
