thanks lax i got it up and running today. the only problem i have now is when two instance of eq are running, when i log one out to character select screeni get the crash eqgame.exe error. the last one always logs out fine.

ya i actually just upgraded my virus scanner yesterday. i do regular spyware checks and did that after i could not get it to run.

also getting a wineq error message stating

everquest support for wineq 2.0 was unable to initialize (-16). please try again later.

just dowloaded wineq today and downloaded the patch fine. when i click on wineq2.13 lite - everquest - wineq 2.0 default profile to start up the game i get an everquest error. it says please run everquest.exe. the path is correct to the everquest.exe file under the preferences. thanks for the help W...
