Played with it some more -- it only freezes up with MQ2 if EQPlayNice is turned on. if I start MQ2 after I am ingame with WinEQ2, and EQPlayNice is on, I get booted to server select as you would expect. At least I'm narrowing down the problem for you =x

2.0 is now working.

with 1.38 I remember being able to adjust where the window was located on screen -- in 2.0 I don't see an option for the X and Y coordinates for the window. Am I missing something?

Same with 2.04
Reinstalled wineq, ran antivirus and adaware and spybot, is there any information I could post here for you to look over and tell me what about my system is fucked up compared to the average user then?

Rebooted, uninstalled WinEQ2 and reinstalled from fresh download.
Still same issue.
