Innerspace with Station Launcher (Vanguard)

Long time user, first post here.. finally found something that isn't clearly answered elsewhere.

I have the downloaded version of vanguard with no vanguard.exe, as such i must run the beta station launcher to get logged in. Is it currently possible to hook vgclient.exe when logging in via the launcher?

Have searched out rumblings on this issue on several IS related forums but no definitive answer. Being that I don't see this same post already on this forum makes me believe I'm doing something stupid. What am I missing, or is this an open issue?

found it -

FIX: http://vanguard.station.sony.com/install/ this 12mb installer will bring down vanguard.exe, then use as directed.
