Setting in wow

Post by toptek » Wed Dec 08, 2004 7:49 pm

I tryed the two DIr thing. seemed the samre to me so i went back to one dir.

but for those of you with a out line screen at logon try this and im in WoW full screen mode with my FPS stying at about 30 /40 all the time with one session and about 20 /40 with two sessions.

1. First Off delete your WTF and WDB folder's in your WoW folder.

2. Then in WinEQ Make sure you have a Windows preset profile set to what ever your desktop Resolutions is with your border 's and full screen set to on .

3. Then log on to WoW with WinEQ not with out.

4. Don't worry if your screen is out of alinement it won't mater once to set up evderything in the game loged in with the new wtf and Wdb Folders..

5. Set up everything in the game by hitting your ESC key then go to video options.

6. Once there uncheck windowed mode . ( the rest of the setting you will have to mess with them to see what fitts best .)

7 . log off then log back . you can use WinEQ in With WoW set to full screen.

im able resize or do just about anything i want to in WoW, but make sure you have in the WinEQ window presets border's set
set to on to work.

that atleast works for me nice now no more reizing at log on . and i had to evertime i loged in to WoW in WinDowed mode. sesen WinEQ 2.05.

when i first login and i can control my Gamma in the game now , because in WoW windoed mode i cant adjust the Gamma in game and my desktop was set to high for me.

I discoverd this by mistake.

I think it has something to do with a NEW WTF and WDB Folder sense they

have all the game setting as far as this goes.

posted is my sys file.

Just treid one other thing .

you cant change the in game resolution and in the preset the border has to be set to on.

if your going to use it in full screen.

if you change the in game resolution everything else has to be changed . in WinEQ and on your desktop. ( resolution or it wont work right.).
