For Everquest:
Trying to assign hotkeys for individual profiles to the numberpad keys / and *. When input as just / and *, / will link to the key next to Shift, and the * isn't recognized at all (defaults to global hotkey). I've tried NumPad/ and NumPad* to no avail as well (This worked in an old version of EQW.. was worth a shot

)
I've been using this setup for some time now, and since EQW is now giving me troulbe, I'd like to know if there's a way to replicate this key setup with WinEQ 2.
Thanks!

Well, the problem with these keys is that they're technically the same exact key as others on the keyboard

The keyboard just says "this is an 'extended' key".
This has been on my list for some time now, but as nobody complained about it for about 8 months I just havent had it on my priority list. I'll see what I can do now

Thanks. When I searched, I did see the one other person who had asked about this, and hadn't seen any updates on it, so I figured I'd pop it back up. EQW differentiated the / key from the numberpad / key by using a qualifier of NumPad/ , rather than just typing / .. same with NumPad*
Of course, since this program actually, you know, works and is supported, I'm happy. Seeing / and * implemented would be icing on the proverbial cake.
Thanks for the quick response. Hopefully you come across a simple way to do it.

All set. Restart WinEQ 2 and let it patch up, and it should work fine. I tested with the key you want myself so I know that particular one works at least
By the way the "Key Name List" drop down box in the "Hotkeys" section lists the keys as described by your keyboard driver. For the default US keyboard, you probably want "Num /" (as described in the patch notes).

Works perfectly. Thanks so much for the very rapid response and fix. I'm sure I'm not the only one who appreciates it!
