huge slow down in EQ2

Post by RustyX » Thu Nov 11, 2004 11:05 am

For some reason when i try running EQ2 it just goes very slow. Even the character select screen is very very choppy. When I run normal EQ2 in windowed mode with same resolution it's fine, but can't play it at all with winEQ2 :(

Looks normal, I do see a few things I'll have to add to the file though. Try going into EQ2 options and turning on windowed mode in the game, if it's not already on. If the game is in full screen mode it may have some issues.

My real guess for you is that you may just need to uninstall and then reinstall your video card drivers. I can't tell which version of the drivers you're running with the current info, so that's something I need to add. But I would definitely try uninstalling them and then installing the newest from nvidia.com
