press and type in WoW Broken

It seems I can no long do press in WoW. I have tried.

Code: Select all

type Hello
no output

then I tried

Code: Select all

press 2
and

Code: Select all

press -hold 2
waitframe
press -release 2
neither result in me casting my spell in slot 2.
