Question

Post by WarDave » Thu Feb 10, 2005 3:12 am

Are you going to KILL OFF WinEQ after IS comes out of beta? I would hate to be forced into useing it. If so why not let us take a vote on it since we are the paying customers =) I know I sound a bit cocky but once I get used to something I like to stick with it. It took me weeks before I got used to WinEQ and also would hate loosing the ability to resize the window by dragging it. I also would have to learn new hotkeys for window sizes and stuff.

Also another idea is if your going to kill off WinEQ you could always make it open souce so someone else can update it.

No, IS will be to WinEQ 2.0 what WinEQ 2.0 is to WinEQ 1.38. In other words, WinEQ will stay as is, but IS will be our primary focus. You can resize the window by dragging it with IS by turning on Force Window, and you get the same hotkeys WinEQ has by default... so really your concerns arent valid ;)

No problem, I can see how the info on the main page can be confusing, and I'll clarify it a little bit
