...can IS be made to support Civ 3 + expansions? There's no way to put it in a windowed mode right now.

Doesn't really take coding prowess, just need to know if it's Direct3D8 or Direct3D9, and if it uses DirectInput pretty much ;) I have it somewhere, I'll see if I can find it

Appears to be OpenGL, so it may be a while.

No problem. Mainly wishful thinking, since I love Civ 3, but hate being able to do nothing else while playing it.

OpenGL seems a little more difficult to have an all-inclusive solution for. I managed to get it to basically work at least for Civ 3 (the other OpenGL games I've tested with havent so far), but I need to do some more research to get it to force windowed mode for you. I am working on it though ;)

No hurry, no hurry.

Thank you very much though. :)

Did this ever come to pass, perchance?

No, I have put off OpenGL support for now but will be revisiting it in a couple months. Unfortunately OpenGL programs dont really have a standard way of operating like Direct3D ones do, so it's a PITA ;)

Not a problem.

Thanks for taking a look at it!

btw, I did get OpenGL support ready and it is in IS 0.81 which is currently available. HOWEVER... Civilization 3 will not work with it, and it also doesn't do "Force Window" yet.

:(
