Lavish Crash Report WinEQ2

Post by topgun1027 » Sat Jul 27, 2013 5:01 pm

Hello, I have been using WinEq2 for a while now and up until today have had no issues with it. My friends are all using it just fine as I am typing this up but I am 1 out of 1,000 screwed for the time being. I've read many people have issues similar to mine and there have been no fixes that I found.

I am getting a Crash report when I try to load Everquest on an emulated server with the WinEQ2 client as follows :

Software: WinEQ Injector 2.15 (Mon Oct 31 18:36:26 2005)

Any help on this would be great.. as I am not a computer techy person. I know a little but not a enough to self fix this or have the evaluation to say its on his end or their end etc..

Cannot load Everquest using WinEQ2 but I can load it through eqgame.exe in the EQ folder.

Ya, I'm having the exact same issues on 2 different machines.

Code: Select all

Software: WinEQ Injector 2.15 (Mon Oct 31 18:36:26 2005)

I'm playing on a emulated server, so using Titanium client if that makes any difference.

The emulated server I'm using also has a custom piece of code that gets installed in the EQ directory, which may be causing the issue.

He's a link to the DL that includes that patch: http://www.project1999.org/files/eqchangesv28.zip

www.project1999.org

I just tried logging into a different server using a copy that doesn't use that patch and it WinEQ launched fine, so it might be something they are doing.

Anyone figured this out yet for emu servers? Works fine for live but any of the emu servers (P99 and Sleepers are the ones i've tried) won't load.

Believe I'm having the same problem.

WinEQ2 just auto-updated and now no clients will load. Everquest 1, emu server, using Underfoot client.

Wish I could help.

All I was doing was playing with different admin and compatibility settings for eqgame.exe, wineq2, and the shortcuts I made from wineq2. Was testing without MQ2 loaded went things started working.

Same problem. I either get a crash or nothing happens when trying to run wineq2 with project1999 emulator server. Seems to work fine on TheSleeper emulator. I am guessing there is a conflict with the latest wineq2 and the latest patch of project1999.
