Crashing after server select - sysinfo attached

Post by mikeverrier1 » Wed Apr 24, 2013 6:35 am

I've seen that many others have had this problem and some of them have solved it by disabling some features or program causing incompatibilities.

It worked a week ago, but may have enabled something by accident, so I am hoping someone might be able to figure it out from this sysinfo.

Specifically, I can log in fine, but after server selection the screen goes black (like normal), then crashes without any error screen after about 15 seconds.

Cheers, thanks in advance for looking at this topic.

PS: This is unrelated to my other active thread issue (different computer, different location).

Fixed this by uninstalling Everquest and Wineq2 completely,

instead of reinstalling I copied my friend's Sony/Everquest folder which we knew works. Placed it in the same spot as my former EQ folder.

Since I had installed previously, there was no problem with registry.

Reinstalled fresh downloaded WinEQ2 and now it works.
