Issue with g15 and switching instances.

Post by domaa smalls » Thu Nov 17, 2011 12:30 am

I am useing wineq2.0 palying everyquest with it. I am haveing issues with switching between instances. When i hit Ctrl+Alt+1 or Ctrl+Alt+2 that moves me to each different instance but when i bind my g keys to these they don't work inside eq. IE when i'm on pandora and hit a g key that is imbed Ctrl+Alt+1 i go to that instance. When i'm on the second instant of everquest (Ctrl+Alt+2) and i hit the same g key as before (Ctrl+Alt+1) it does not go to the first instant. Instead it does some odd thing with my computer that makes me move different. Not sure what it is doing really but not what i want it to do.

Any help?

If WinEQ 2 is running as Administrator, and you have configured your G-keys to press Ctrl+Alt+1 (etc), then you may need to make sure the Logitech Keyboard Profiler software is also running as Administrator.

I don't know what this would be (or look like), sorry

Also unable to switch sessions

Post by Minadin » Thu Mar 15, 2012 8:08 pm

I have my 'Next Session' hotkey in WinEQ 2.15 Lite set to the '~' key.

But, recently, it is no longer working to switch windows in Everquest. Instead, it targets the nearest NPC. I don't seem to have a hotkey conflict within EQ with that key. Still, I have to use ALT-TAB to switch between windows, which works, but isn't as cool as being able to switch with 1 keypress.

I've tried changing the hotkey to another button, but it doesn't fix the problem.

I've only noticed this for the past week or two, but it's possible that it's been going on for longer than that, because I don't box very often.

Below is a copy of the text in my Sysinfo.txt file:
