WinEQ 2.0 closes after server select

Post by SBellew » Tue Nov 01, 2011 11:42 pm

After selecting server and continuing, it waits about 5 seconds and then the window just closes. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'd probably try it without MQ2 and see if the same problem occurs, and then I might go as far as to try it with the current version of EQ as I don't provide any specific support for "private" servers...

I tried it with and without MQ running.

Looking for things out of the ordinary, I closed Team Viewer and it started up and worked just fine. Not sure what in Team Viewer is causing the issue. Any suggestions? I use TV sometimes to connect characters on my home PC from alternate locations such as work.

Hmmm ok, haven't heard of problems with that before. It does apparently load a DLL in the game.
