Graphic EQ1 UI issue while 2 boxing

Default EQ UI, looks normal and fine up until I start the 2nd instance of EQ. After the 2nd character gets loaded in the 1st characters screen looks like this. Tried messing with a bunch of the settings but nothing is working.

Any ideas welcomed.

Forgot to add I also get a low texture warning message that pops up when i get to character select screen while loading in the 2nd character.

hmm? I was 2 boxing at the time when I took that info.. which might be why its low?

Once you start running out of texture memory, the behavior of the game rendering is going to seem kind of weird. It wont be able to load certain textures, so they may come up transparent, or some games apply a certain color -- like WoW I believe will start showing them as green instead of the textures you're used to. Asheron's Call used to show things in white if I recall correctly. So your low texture memory doesn't particularly surprise me with this report. You can alleviate some of the problem by decreasing resolution, color depth (e.g. change windows desktop to 16-bit instead of 32-bit), or reducing certain EQ settings such as texture quality or removing additional Luclin models (I see you have many of them turned off already).

Beyond that, I see you have RAM that isn't in use (913MB from your sysinfo.txt) that could be shared with the video card for texture memory. I don't know what the setting is called in BIOS these days, but it used to be something like AGP/Graphics Aperture/Window Size (any combination of the words, such as AGP Aperture Size, Graphics Aperture Size, Graphics Window Size, etc). I have to assume based on your low texture memory that it is set pretty low on your system, and setting it to 512MB or so should be fine.
