Character selection

As I have been logging on to EQ i get to the server selection stage without any problems. After I have selected the server it starts to load but before i get to the character selection screen I get a disconnected message is there something really obvious i am missing?

If I had to guess, I would say your copy of EQ needs to be patched. Try enabling the Patch option in your WinEQ 2 Profile to be sure.
