can not retrieve new file wineq.dll

it wont patch all the way says cannot retrieve new file wineq.dll aborting
patch you can still continue to use the software. then another window...
Wineq was unable to initialize at this time please try again later have i downloaded the full version by mistake? plz help me out thank you

Are you running Vista? If so, make sure you run WinEQ as administrator (right click on the shortcut, select 'run as administrator').

I am having the same problem and running Win XP. It will download for a while than abort with the above message. Any ideas?

Typically these error messages give a number which indicates to me what the problem is. Please let me know the number in the message and I may be able to help determine the cause.
