new CRC errors

Post by Twist » Mon Aug 15, 2005 2:24 pm

I looked up via search, and it says that the CRC Failure problem happens to approximately 5 users. I've been using WinEQ 2.0 Lite for over a month now with no problems, just after applying the latest security updates from Microsoft, it's stopped working. Here's what I'm getting:

CRC Failure: 260DFBA7 (687) vs. 752EE254

WinEQ failed to initialize - CRC Failure - #1 WinEQ Injector 2.09

After this I can start EverQuest via WinEQ, but no 'features' are working.

Here's the list of the patches I just installed:

Forgot to mention, the "WinEQ.log" file does not exist, or I would have posted it. Correction on the 'features' not working; I forgot that before posting I also tried uninstalling/reinstalling WinEQ, so it forgot my custom function keys. After changing them back, things like toggling between windows seems to work fine.

Yeah, the CRC issue is when I forget to tell the server I just patched it. WinEQ continues to work normally :) Problem fixed, sorry about that.
