eqgame.exe has encountered a problem

I keep getting this error message when trying to run EQ from within WinEQ 2.08 lite .. i can run EQ normally but not with WinEQ.

Any ideas?

If you can get rid of the fake d3d9.dll, then your problem is solved

Thank you very much, not sure what that file is for but EQ didn't try and dl a new version

BTW what is that file?

Well, some people used to use a fake d3d9.dll to do auto-fire macros for rangers and such.
