WinEQ pro licensing question

Post by DigitalMocking » Tue Apr 05, 2005 2:44 pm

Do I need to license a copy of winEQ2 for each instance of EQ I want to run?

No, definitely not. This is explained a little bit on the subscription information page
"Rules: Single accounts may be shared by users at the same physical location (we are aware that some users have special cases. You may contact us to ask about your situation). The license server will be aware of multiple IP usage, and unreasonable sharers will be warned and/or banned with no refund. We will not ban you without first contacting you, so long as your account is not being used very unreasonably."

Each computer can only have one account assigned to it at a time anyway. :)

It's exactly what the post says and exactly what the subscription information page says: Single accounts may be shared by users at the same physical location

If your 6 PCs are 1 in madagascar, 1 in zambia, 1 in brazil, 1 in china, 1 in the US, and 1 in australia, there's going to be red flags. If your 6 PCs are all in your own home, you're not going to have any problems. The system is designed to protect us, not to inconvenience you :)
