Freeze problem
This computer is new and has froze 1 time ever. Over the last three days and nights it freezes everytime i start eq. Complete file check, good. Three different scans for as ware, spyware and viruses and all good. I figured i was overheating but since update today eq isnt freezing. Could the frame rate issue have been cause eq to frrezze? Please tell me yes so i know its not my computer. Once again it opnly froze in eq. Thanks.
The framerate issue fixed today would absolutely not cause your system to lock up.
Post SysInfo.txt, it gives me detailed information about your system so that I can give you better suggestions... but my first thoughts are, yes, to check if its overheating, and also to update your system drivers. New computers often need driver updates for the motherboard -- for example, my current system would BSOD because I needed to update the SATA drivers (for the hard drive) when I first got it.
