Can't get past EQ patch

Running EQ1

EQPlayNice and WinEQ2.3

I start it, the EQ Patch runs, and when I click Play it seems to cogitate and then tell me eqgame.exe has encountered a problem and has to close. The offset is 6c505145.

You're running EQPlayNice separately. It's built into WinEQ 2.03, just close down the old EQPlayNice tray program
